New Diet Safety

Is Your New Diet Safe?

The new diet safety checklist is just what you need before starting a new diet. It's effective at helping you decide if your new diet is a safe diet.

Safe Diet Checklist
CheckmarkIt promotes a nutritious & balanced menu (no food groups are excluded).
CheckmarkIt's not a stimulant and it doesn't use stimulants as supplements.
CheckmarkIt's not a thyroid support medicine.
CheckmarkIt's not a cortisone supplement.
CheckmarkCalorie restriction is kept at a moderate level (no more than 30-40% reduction from your normal amount).
CheckmarkThe manufacturer provides safety information, like side effects and reported adverse affects. Look for things like drop out rates and why people dropped out and serious adverse events like nerve problems, heart problems, development of anorexia (fatally too thin) and even death.
CheckmarkInformation is readily available on common side effects, like headaches, nausea, stomach pains, lethargy and fatigue.

As you can see, the diet safety checklist does not support programs that create disease to cure disease. Taking cortisone when you don't need it, can cause Cushing's Disease.

Supporters of these programs claim that dieting disrupts many hormones, making their products necessary. However, the lack of evidence to back-up their claims is currently not available.

We don't support weight loss methods of this type and consider them potentially harmful to your health.
