Lose Fat Slowly For Lasting Weight Loss
How to lose fat.
If you change the human body so that the metabolic rate is faster, or total body weight has decreased, or energy expended (used as in exercise) has gone up, all systems respond and adjust to the new enviornment pretty quickly except fat.
This is more proof that the body wants to keep fat and not burn it for immediate energy needs. This is also why dieting fast and diets in general don't work.
True weight loss is measured by the amount of fat you lose. To lose muscle or water is to superficially lose weight. Think of it as a cosmetic change when you lose water or muscle. The weight will come back!
True weight loss means losing fat and fat only. And it takes time.
Fat is slow. Real slow. It takes time for the body to switch from a primarily carbohydrate driven system to one running off of fat. This is why slow, consistent changes in your diet produce the best response.
