Coupling Curb Cravings

Stomp Out Diet Drop Out Rates by Combining

Coupling -- To combine two diet plans in one dieting session. The sky is the limit. No matter how you do it, combining diets seems to have a great influence on food cravings.

How to Couple -- I prefer to simply add in a different dieting plan every 4-6 weeks. You only need to follow the second plan for 1-2 weeks, but longer is fine too.

When you couple, don’t do both diets at the same time, stop your main diet completely and replace it with the second plan. During this week allow yourself a few “cheating moments.” I don’t care what any “expert” believes, if having a cheating day helps you to stick with a diet…by all means cheat!

Some good coupling partners are…

1. The Zone with any low fat diet type
2. Atkins (low carbs) with Negative Calorie Diets
3. Replace any diet with an exercise program (see your doctor)
4. Exchange any diet with 1:1 ratio (no reductions, all exchanges)
5. Replace your diet with a general low calorie diet at a low rate
6. Do one week of only meal replacement
7. Volumetric/high volume diets with low carb diets

Cravings -- To really curb food cravings, couple with a second diet plan that allows you to eat the food you crave the most. This technique will wipe out food cravings immediately.
